Born into a family of musicians, Beatrice Rana began musical studies at the age of four and made her concerto debut when she was nine. She has been invited to perform at the Busoni, La Folle Journée, La Roque d’Antherón, Lanaudière, and Radio-France Festivals, and as soloist with the Aarhus Symfoniorkester, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Kuala Lumpur Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia, and Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. First prize winner of the 2011 Montreal International Musical Competition, Ms. Rana also took first prize at the Muzio Clementi and Bang & Olufsen Piano Competitions. She released her first CD in 2012 of works by Scriabin and Chopin on ATMA Classique. She currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, having previously graduated from the Nino Rota Conservatory of Music.

Beatrice Rana has been shaking up the international classical music world, arousing admiration and interest from concert presenters, conductors, critics, and audiences around the world.
In the 2023–2024 season, Ms. Rana tours to Europe with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Sir Antonio Pappano, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. She makes debuts with the Berliner Philharmoniker with Yannick Nézet-Séguin and The Cleveland Orchestra with Lahav Shani, and she returns to the New York Philharmonic with Manfred Honeck.
In 2023, she released her fifth album, which featured Clara and Robert Schumann’s concertos with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Mr. Nézet-Séguin. Ms. Rana’s newest album, which features works by Beethoven and Chopin, will be released in March 2024.
In 2017, Ms. Rana started her own chamber music festival, Classiche Forme, in her native town of Lecce, Puglia. The festival has become one of Italy’s major summer events. She became artistic director of the Orchestra Filarmonica di Benevento in 2020.
