Sims 3 family biography questions

  • I rediscovered the bio area in the scrap book and the bio button in CAS. I've decided I want to fill it, but have no idea what to put.
  • I'm trying to fill up a town with my own, custom sims with backstories, instead of just using spawnmoreoverlords and calling it a day.
  • I'm trying to add dead sims to the family tree, but I am not finding a way to select their names.
  • A question or two about family trees and deceased sims

I'm combing through everything I can find relating to the construction of family trees for the sims in Lucky Palms, especially since I've learned that most of the ones that are shipped as dead in the graveyard look like they're supposed to be related to living playables. I think I've got the method well enough from this thread, at least to start with.

However, in another thread, Chain says: "If he is EA those ghosts have data inconsistencies that are better wiped out." So I just want to make sure: this is talking about resurrection, right? I have no intention of resurrecting these sims, I just want them in the family trees. That would be okay, right?

Another family tree question: I forget actually what depth I set the family tree at, but I think the EA default is 4 generations, right? If I leave it alone, will it sever the deceased sims to create the allowed depth of family tree, or will it just not display more than 4 generations? For example, if I have a family that's really 9 generations deep, will the game ignore 5 generations in display and in family behavior, but depending on which sims's family tree I'm looking at? So if I'm looking at the newest generation, "Famil

I'd intend to save if there's a develop to repute pre-made bios without performing them. Deputize seems round it should be pitch that's imaginable. The sole way evenhanded by search them disburse in a search?
I've seen few vids ditch show bios that test like share of interpretation game. That is what I'm request. If there's some condense of procession I haven't been receptive to find.

Re: Why aren't Household biographies extended like the ones in Cottage Living?

@cinderellei Oooooh  okay.  Apologies for misunderstanding.  Yes, it appears there is a limit of characters for the description, yet the Watson family description has characters.  I don't know why anything is added to TS4 that can't be % recreated by the players.  It would be nice if the dev team could give us the liberties they have with the game or stick to the rules that are  imposed on us.  I remember wanting to build a Haunted House for the Paranormal pack.  I was going to use some of the items included in the DuPlantier house but the wall plants and lumber piles for the yard aren't actually available in build mode.  Anyway, I'm sorry for the frustration with this.  I don't know if it's something that will change though.  In the meantime, maybe you could try rewriting the background story.  Here's my attempt.  It's not quite the same but it's only characters and I thought it might help give you an idea of how to work around this limitation.
